Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have “ended” their marriage amid rumors of divorce and now have a “completely different relationship,” according to a new report.
Their marriage continues to be plagued by breakup rumors, with sources close to the couple adding to the discussion.
The “Let’s Get Loud” hitmaker, 54, and the Oscar winner, 51, are “taking some distance” to determine if a relationship is “right for both of them,” the source said. She told Us Weekly on tuesday.
Meanwhile, the “Argo” actor apparently “doesn’t agree with Jennifer’s lifestyle” and feels “exhausted” in his marriage, the source said, adding that the father of two feels “abandoned.”
The source added that the pair, who are set to marry in 2022, “have completely different ideas about each other most of the time” so “married life is over.”
“They both have demanding jobs that require them to be in different cities,” the source added.
J.Lo has reportedly “upped her work load” and begun preparations for her “This Is Me… Live” tour, which kicks off next month.
“She’s very focused on her work and is pushing herself too hard,” a source told the outlet, adding that the reason the pair are separated is because of contrasting work commitments.
This “highlighted the emotional and physical distance between them,” they added.
“Over time, it became increasingly difficult for Jennifer and Ben to communicate effectively, and small misunderstandings escalated into major arguments,” the source said. “They have fundamentally different approaches to conflict.”
Additionally, the source claims that the pair have different philosophies about parenting and money, which “exacerbated” their marital problems.
Page Six has reached out to representatives for Lopez and Affleck for comment.
Earlier this month, a source exclusively told Page Six that Affleck has “come to his senses” about their marriage.
Breakup rumors first circulated between the pair when the “On the Floor” hitmaker showed up to the 2024 Met Gala without him, despite him co-chairing the event.
A week later, TMZ reported that the couple had separated.
Affleck has reportedly begun living in the home in Los Angeles’ Brentwood neighborhood, less than 30 minutes from his and Lopez’s $60 million Beverly Hills mansion, for about two weeks.
Page Six has since learned that Affleck has been quietly house hunting in the Los Angeles area.
Their love story dates back to 2002 when they first started dating. The pair got engaged later that year, but split in 2004 after postponing their wedding the year before.
The two eventually reconciled in 2021 and got married the following year.
