Rubio: Biden is 'demented man propped up by wicked and deranged people'

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) slammed President Biden on Friday in a post on the social media platform “X,” calling him a “mad man.”

“The current president is a crazy man supported by evil, crazy people who are trying to destroy our country in order to stay in power,” Rubio said. Said The post includes a video of Biden following his announcement on Friday about the war between Israel and Hamas.

The video shows Biden walking away from the podium as someone asks a question.

“Mr. President, could you please tell me, [former President Trump] “They call themselves ‘political prisoners’ and directly criticise you. What do you think about that?” the person asked.

The president then stopped mid-question, turned around and smiled.

The email from the Trump National Committee (JFC), which is seeking to raise funds using the former president’s recent conviction in a New York financial case, featured a photo labelling Trump a “political prisoner.”

“My friends, is this the end of America? I have just been convicted in a rigged political witch hunt trial. I did nothing wrong! They searched my house, arrested me, took my mugshot, and now they have convicted me! But with your support at this moment in history, we can take back the White House and Make America Great Again!” the email read.

Trump was found guilty by a jury on Thursday on all charges of falsifying business records to conceal an alleged affair during the 2016 campaign, making him the first former president to be convicted of a crime.

Rubio, who is considered a leading candidate to be Trump’s running mate in the 2024 presidential election, is one of many prominent Republicans who have criticized the hush money case ruling.

“It’s horrible. What this case shows is that they can go after a former president on these ridiculous charges and get a conviction. They can go after anyone,” Rubio said Thursday on Fox News’ “Hannity.”

“And most people can’t afford to fight these diseases.”

Hill has reached out to the Biden campaign and the White House.
