Video of Baltimore airport workers brawl at Spirit Airlines

Shocking video shows the moment four Baltimore-Washington International Airport employees got into a fight with a fifth man at a Spirit Airlines ticket counter. Airport employees have been suspended for their roles in the nasty brawl.

Maryland Transportation Authority officials responded to the incident late Tuesday afternoon. TMZ.

The video shows four airport staff members struggling with a fifth man at the Spirit Airlines ticket counter at about 4.15pm on Tuesday.

When four airport staff confronted the man, the man assumed a fighting stance. Suddenly, a staff member wearing a white button-down shirt lunged at the man and began throwing wild, swinging punches. The staff then grouped together and attacked the man.

The man fell to the floor and employees punched, stomped and kicked him, while another employee walked over and punched the man in the face while he was on the ground.

The Maryland Department of Transportation said one person suffered minor injuries.

The four ticket takers reportedly worked for a Spirit Airlines vendor but were not actual employees.

The vendor said it has suspended all four employees pending the outcome of an investigation.

In a statement, Spirit Airlines said: “We are aware of the altercation that occurred in Baltimore (BWI) on May 28. Our vendor has suspended the four employees involved pending the completion of their investigation into this matter. We do not tolerate violence of any kind and will take appropriate action, if necessary, once the vendor’s investigation is complete.”

“We have provided all parties with information about victim rights and services, including information about filing criminal charges with their local magistrate’s office,” the Maryland Transportation Authority said in a statement.

Neither the Maryland Transportation Authority nor Spirit Airlines responded to requests for comment about the all-out brawl. Baltimore Banner.
