Former Hillsong New York Church pastor Carl Lentz launched a new podcast on June 4th, telling his followers he will not be returning to pastorship.
As Crosswalk heading As previously reported, There has been much speculation Regarding Lentz’s return to pastoral ministry, he and his wife, Lauren, released a cryptic video in which they said they were beginning a “new chapter.”
“June 4th, my podcast, Right On, is now available on all platforms,” Lentz wrote in the caption. “My Choices, “And my road to recovery has taught me how helpful it can be for people to be vulnerable and share the impact of their poor choices,” he continued. Caused, And the pain they had to make those choices and what they discovered can be helpful and healing.”

Pastor Lentz was fired from Hillsong in 2020 for “moral failings,” including infidelity to his wife, Lauren. While pastoring Hillsong NYC, Pastor Lentz had an affair with Brooklyn, New York, designer Ranin Karim. After his firing, other allegations of infidelity emerged, including with a Hillsong NYC staff member who also served as Pastor Lentz’s nanny, who claimed she had been abused by Pastor Lentz.
In 2023, Lentz joined Pastor Mike Todd’s Transformation Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, temporarily returning to pastoral duties as a strategist.
