The FBI and other government agencies joined in as government departments and businesses celebrated the LGBT movement by marking the month of June as Pride Month.
“At the #FBI, we know that diversity makes us stronger. During #PrideMonth, the FBI celebrates the contributions of our #LGBTQIA+ colleagues to our country and our mission,” an FBI spokesperson said. post X declares:
“This Pride Month, we thank LGBTQ+ service members for their contributions to our national security.”
The Blaze News previously reported that the Department of Defense posted about Pride Month, but the Navy post “Charting a path to equality. Celebrate #PrideMonth with the #USNavy!” it reads.
Both the Air Force and Space Force post A message from Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin read, “During Pride Month, we thank LGBTQ+ service members for their contributions to our national security. As Secretary of Defense, I will work to ensure that LGBTQ members across the Joint Forces can continue to perform their duties with dignity and respect. We applaud your service, and thank you to the spouses and families who work together to make that service possible.”
The Transportation Security Administration hung what appeared to be a Progressive Pride flag outside its headquarters.
“#PrideMonth is a wonderful opportunity each year to honor and celebrate our LGBTQI+ employees. Today, Deputy Administrator Canevari and TSA Pride raised the Pride flag outside @TSA Headquarters to show support and solidarity with this community. Diversity makes us stronger,” said TSA Administrator David Pekoske. Tweeted.
The Department of Homeland Security also Posts About Pride Month: “June is Pride Month. It’s a time to celebrate the many contributions of our LGBTQIA+ employees and stand with our community — our community — throughout the month and every day. #WeAreDHS #Pride2024.”
