Abdallah al-Jamal, a journalist with the US 501(c)3 non-profit Palestine Chronicle, who was killed during an Israeli hostage rescue operation in Gaza on Saturday, was revealed to have been a spokesman for the Hamas-run government department.

Al Jamal is Contributor Palestine Chronicle, and Al JazeeraHis reporting reads like propaganda, probably not coincidentally, since he was the spokesman for the Hamas-run Palestinian Ministry of Labor in the Gaza Strip. according to Ramy Abdou, president of the Euromed human rights monitor. Abdu wrote that al-Jamal was “executed” by Israeli forces who entered his home during the successful rescue operation.

Israeli media sources subsequently speculated that al-Jamal’s family may be holding one of the released Israeli prisoners, such as Noa al-Ghamani or Abdu. I have written Several houses were hit during the raids, but he would not confirm whether families were holding prisoners.
At the time of their rescue, Al-Ghamani and the three other hostages were known to have been held by a Palestinian civilian family living near the market area of Nuseira.
Palestine Chronicles explain The group is registered as a 501(c)3 nonprofit “with a mission to educate the public” and has tax-exempt status in the U.S. Breitbart News did not respond to a request for comment.
