Mercedes on pole? A Mercedes win has been a long time coming since 2022, but George Russell will be on pole starting next season. Max Verstappen missed out on pole by setting the same time, but despite some doubts, he is not off the pace. We’ll see how it goes in Montreal. Mercedes feels like they have the upper hand for the first time in a while, and Red Bull is a bit pessimistic about the outlook.
