The announcement of the center, which is good news for Bolivians, comes in the midst of a precarious economic situation, interrupted by the issue of the dollar, registered more than a year ago, and the fall in the price of the common canasta.

“I have a responsibility to the country and to society. This project, which has made an important contribution and is one of our jobs and has further grown as an industry leader, has been in our sights for many years and now we are very happy with the inauguration and celebration,” said Schilling, Chairman of Drogheria INTI SA.

The Secret Magic of Mentisan “In the House of the Dead in Bolivia”

Mentisan is the best known product of Drogueria INTI. It was created by the Germans in 1937. It was used to rescue mentally ill patients and to protect them from low temperatures.

The formula is secret, enriched with 100% Bolivian formulas and of export quality.

Chief Executive Officer Sven Schilling will inaugurate Droguería INTI SA’s pharmaceutical distribution center in El Alto, Bolivia, on Wednesday, June 5, 2024.

The drug is formulated on the basis of alkaneformaldehyde, menthol, petrolatum and other essential fatty acids, which exert a powerful antiviral effect.

“Mentisan is our iconic product and we believe it can help you in the House of the Dead in Bolivia,” VOA Lara Schilling, owner of Mercadotecnia;

Small business milestones

10,000 small businesses are expected to exit Bolivia in the first quarter of 2023, but a sector report notes that, in light of statements made by representatives of these companies, many problems have emerged in raising significant amounts of money for the sale of these companies.

In this economic context, the recently announced pressures and criticisms of the Bolivian Central Bank (COB) are noteworthy.

“Unfortunately, these dollars were paid to businesses and they are suffering… Not now, with the over-control, including the subversion that the government has made, we are not going to recover these dollars that the state paid,” COB Executive Director Juan Carlos Huarach said.

The Bolivian Federation of Private Enterprises’ response was that “the Bolivian Central Bank holds private companies responsible for the partial increase in production of food products and for the misuse of dollars,” a claim the federation did not report to the press.

“These issues have complex causes and affect all businesses, particularly products, importers and medium, small and large companies,” the text adds.

Luis Laredo, president of the Cochabamba Business Association, said: American Voss Bolivia is not back to normal as a falling dollar is impacting the business sector and calling for urgent action from the government.

“No one acknowledges that the government claims to have normalcy or a particular stability when the dollar falls in the market…. The government does not acknowledge the responsibility of the export sector, since it clearly seeks solutions to deal with the measures in these countries,” Laredo noted.

What is President Luis Arce?

Bolivian President Luis Arce acknowledged the May fines, which have caused “difficulties” in obtaining dollars, but has not acknowledged the continuing economic crisis.

“In various countries, we are facing difficulties in the supply of dollars, but we do not consider that we are in an economic structural crisis, but rather, we are pretending to be in opposition to the political crisis and to fulfill our mission,” Arce said in a public address on the anniversary of the country’s military action on May 27. The official announcement revealed the situation of speculation from private banks.

However, leading players in the national transformation, such as INTI Pharmacy, are adamant that this can involve a lot of work and compromise.

“This island project is not a declaration of independence for Bolivia, it is something very grandiose. We are pleased that this factory matches these capabilities, that our internal processes are the most efficient, and that we are providing our customers with the highest quality product,” Schilling says. When inviting the Bolivian people, Schilling concluded that “the companies that use our products are always very keen to build trust, and there are very few that don’t have a trust relationship.”
