Establishment Democrats have waged a joint public-private campaign in recent months to neutralize the conservative justices on the U.S. Supreme Court. Democrats and their media allies acknowledge that the campaign is driven in part by a need to tilt future cases in their favor. After all, the cases under consideration concern the 2020 election, the January 6 protests, and the immunity of former President Donald Trump. United States vs. Donald Trumpwhich could have significant consequences in November.
The broader aim is to “combat virtually the only check on Democratic political power,” Blaze Media senior political editor and Washington correspondent Christopher Bedford said recently.
A senior Republican aide told Bedford that Democrats’ overall strategy is fourfold.
First, it would encourage justices to defect and change their rulings; second, it would delegitimize Supreme Court decisions; third, it would provide political cover for aggressive ethics reforms, such as peremptory challenges based on unevenly applied ethics standards, that bureaucratic control aims to undermine the Republican majority; and fourth, it would create the political conditions necessary to add to the court.
Following this plan, Democratic activists, in a desperate effort to get Justices Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas to recuse themselves, manufactured scandals, stoked outrage, and applied scrutiny and standards to conservative justices that they did not apply to Justices Elena Kagan, Sonia Sotomayor, and Ketanji Brown Jackson.
With little runway left and burdened by a string of failures, Democrats are now leaning into their latest fabrication scandal over comments made by Justice Alito and Martha Ann Alito that were secretly recorded at the Supreme Court Historical Association’s annual dinner on June 3rd.
While Democracy Partners false flag activist Lauren Windsor completes a media tour promoting the Democrats’ preferred narrative, her Senate allies are trying to push a so-called Supreme Court ethics bill to effectively force Justice Alito into submission.
Flags and Failures
The Blaze News previously reported that Obama evangelist Jodi Kantor launched the latest joint public-private campaign on May 16 with an article in The New York Times titled, “‘Stop the Steal’ Symbol on Display at Judge Alito’s Residence.”
The so-called “Stop the Steal” symbol in question was the American flag, which Martha Ann Alito had hung upside down “in response to my neighbor using offensive and personally offensive language on her yard sign.”
Justice Alito clearly had nothing to do with the defaced flag.
Senator Dick Durbin (Democrat, Illinois) House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries (DN.Y.) and others had apparently been waiting for Cantor’s report and quickly seized on it as an opportunity to demand that Alito apologize and resign.
Democrats stepped up their pressure campaign, with The Times and other liberal publications further pushing false claims that the flag raising was connected to the January 2021 Capitol protests and that Justice Alito may have raised the flag, making him ideologically compromised.
After false flag operations failed to produce results, the joint public-private campaign tried a new angle.
Sounding the alarm Just months after it became clear that Anheuser-Busch InBev would not quickly recover from a boycott over its partnership with cross-dressing activists, Justice Alito’s decision to divest from the company left-leaning publications was “questionable” — further evidence that he should not be making the decision.
“I am therefore obligated to reject your request to resign.”
That spinoff Scandal didn’t fare as well.
Cantor then wrote another piece, this time with the help of former Bellingcat research director Arik Toler and former Washington Post researcher Julie Tate, stoking concern about an “Appeal to Heaven” flag that was purportedly flying above Alito’s New Jersey beach house.
They argue that the flag, which flew outside San Francisco’s Democratic-majority City Hall for 60 years until late last month, has once again become a symbol of rebellion and discredits conservative judges.
This attack was similarly ineffective and resulted in Justice Alito informing Senators Durbin and Whitehouse that he would not recuse himself.
“A reasonable person not motivated by political or ideological considerations or a desire to influence the Supreme Court’s decisions would conclude that this event does not meet the test for recusal.”
I have written Justice Alito had previously cited the disqualification clause in the court’s code of conduct, adding, “I am therefore bound to deny your request to recuse myself.”
Democrats, growing increasingly desperate, especially after The New York Times watered down an earlier flag story with details about Alito’s radical left-wing neighbors, began thinking up new ways to undermine Alito.
Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) wrote an op-ed in The New York Times suggesting the Biden Justice Department could pressure the Supreme Court to act in Democrats’ favor.
Unless the separation of powers completely breaks down and the Biden Justice Department steps up its crackdown, Raskin and other Democrats’ crusade to control the Supreme Court from the sidelines appeared to be stalled, but on Monday Lauren Windsor gave them a boost.

Windsor is a partner at Democracy Partners and executive director of a Democratic dark money group.
Voices of American Families, helped The Lincoln Project organized a fake white supremacist rally to smear then-candidate Glenn Youngkin ahead of Virginia’s 2021 gubernatorial election, and she has also sought to disclose the identities of Project Veritas operatives in recent years.
Rather than hold another fake hate rally during election season to support Democrats, Ms. Windsor claimed to be a religious conservative and secretly recorded brief conversations with Justice Alito last year and again on June 3. Most recently, Ms. Windsor also recorded a conversation with Mrs. Alito.
Despite these predictions and subsequent reporting, Windsor not only managed to get past the Alitos’ incriminating comments, but also helped further weaken the case for the public-private campaign so far.
In the secret recording, Alito points out that the left and right disagree on “fundamental things that simply cannot be compromised,” that there are likely to be winners in the culture war, that the American people “must heal this polarization because it is so dangerous,” and that the Supreme Court is “not a law enforcement agency” and therefore cannot be used as a weapon against criminal leakers.
Mrs. Alito, on the other hand, made it clear that her husband did not get to decide which flags to fly, that Justice Alito had warned her not to fly flags he deemed controversial, and that she had entertained the idea of flying the Sacred Heart flag. [of Jesus] She will raise a flag in response to those of nearby LGBT activists, find solace in Psalm 27, and be unfazed by slander in the press, and may eventually take legal action against liberal media for alleged defamation.
While the recording was relatively innocuous, private campaign members stressed that the couple’s comments were still disgraceful and demonstrated a lack of impartiality on Justice Alito’s part.
The swan song of the public and private sectors
Windsor desperately tried to impress other Democrats,
tell For example, MSNBC’s Alex Wagner said, “The American people deserve to know that the Supreme Court is too compromised and not impartial. … To hear him say that he can’t be impartial, that there are some things he can’t compromise on, should be an opening for journalists and Congress to say, ‘Well, tell me what those things are.'”

Other Interviews Alito’s observation of the discrepancy between the modern liberal worldview and that of the right is an admission that he cannot be objective. Associated Press Other publications have also adopted it.
“His growing power on the Supreme Court is a threat to our democracy.”

Said When it comes to holding the Supreme Court accountable, he said, “I think extreme measures are justified.”
As the false flag faction created the story with the help of Rolling Stone, CNN and other liberal outlets, Democrats in Congress did their part.
Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.)
I have written In response to the recording, Roberts said, “I am sickened and frightened. These abhorrent threats of revenge reveal a mindset — one that Alito himself appears to share and which he has made no attempt to deny. I also cannot accept Roberts’ lack of leadership and the inaction of Congress due to Republican resistance.”
Senator Elizabeth Warren said, “Alito is an extremist who is far removed from mainstream America, and his growing power on the Supreme Court is a threat to our democracy.”
report Leech.
“My greatest concern is that Justice Alito appears to have decided the case with preconceived notions about it,” Warren continued. “This is one of the greatest sins a judge can commit, and I find Justice Alito’s open siding in the midst of a hotly contested political battle deeply disturbing.”
Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (R-Indiana)
Tweeted“Justice Alito responded like an activist. There is a role for activists, but it is not on the Supreme Court.”
Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) indicated Democrats will aim to advance the so-called ethics bill by unanimous vote on Wednesday, The Hill reported.
“We’re not ruling out any tactics at this point. Our first effort will be to enact legislation that passed the committee 11-10 this week. [unanimous consent request]” Durbin said.
South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham
I swore “I’m against it,” he told NBC News in an effort to block the effort.
The proposed bill, so-called
“Supreme Court Ethics, Challenging, and Transparency Act of 2023” The Senate Judiciary Committee approved the bill on a party-line basis last July, but it has yet to take a floor vote.
The bill would significantly advance the goals of the public-private campaign by expanding the circumstances under which a judge must be disqualified and requiring the Supreme Court to adopt a code of conduct for judges and establish procedures for receiving and investigating complaints of judicial misconduct.
While liberal judges have their own ethical issues, Senate Democrats have made it clear who the bill’s real target is.
“Justice Alito has become an outcast against the Supreme Court itself. He’s making a mockery of ethics,” Blumenthal said. “It is truly disheartening, in fact outrageous, that Mr. Roberts has tacitly condoned Justice Alito’s behavior. This is an undermining of the integrity of the Supreme Court and a degrading of himself.”
“They want to destroy public trust in all of our institutions, and they’re specifically targeting the Supreme Court,” said Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas).
The paper reported that Senator Cornyn made it clear that the bill would not move forward at least this week.
Senate Republican Leader John Thune of South Dakota said the bill amounted to another attempt “by the left to delegitimize the Supreme Court.”
