Jets head coach Robert Saleh did his best to quell the furor surrounding Aaron Rodgers’ unexcused absence from the team’s mandatory minicamp on Wednesday.
“Aaron and I are on the same page,” Saleh said. “There’s no problem between us. [and I] Or your teammates. We solved it. [Tuesday]”… It’s more of an issue for everyone outside the building than it is for the people inside the building. That’s all.”
Saleh said he did not speak with Rodgers after the NBA revealed to media on Tuesday that he would miss the team’s two-day minicamp, which ended on Wednesday.
It is unclear where Rodgers is.
Saleh said Tuesday before OTAs that Rodgers told him he would miss minicamp to attend an event that was “very important to him.”
The only Jets player not participating in minicamp was defensive end Haason Reddick, who is not believed to be taking part because he is seeking a new contract.

Saleh said both players are subject to penalties under the CBA, which could result in fines of up to $50,000 each.
Rodgers is participating in the remainder of the spring program, which is optional.
In Rodgers’ absence, Tyrod Taylor ran all first-team practices as the quarterback.
