The Los Angeles street artist known as Sabo is targeting George Clooney and his wife, Amal, ahead of a big-ticket Hollywood fundraiser for President Joe Biden scheduled for Saturday.
One poster shows human rights lawyer Amal Clooney wearing a suicide vest, a reference to her recent involvement in the International Criminal Court (ICC) request for arrest warrants for Israeli leaders over the war against Hamas.
“Rooney Clooney is awesome,” the poster reads.

Another poster shows George Clooney as a character from ER with the warning: “Trump Derangement Syndrome – it’s real, many suffer from it, but there is help.”

Biden is due to arrive in Los Angeles this weekend for a party that will also include former President Barack Obama and Julia Roberts. The event, held at the Peacock Theater in the LA Live complex in downtown Los Angeles, has hefty admission prices, with Hollywood’s elite shelling out $500,000 for top-tier ticket packages.
Biden last visited a Hollywood ATM in February, when he attended a glitzy fundraiser in Los Angeles for Democratic megadonors Haim Saban and Casey Wasserman. The December fundraiser in Los Angeles was rocked by left-wing, pro-Palestinian protesters who marred the excitement of the event with fierce opposition to Biden and his stance on Israel’s war with Hamas.
Biden’s reelection co-chair, former Disney and DreamWorks president Jeffrey Katzenberg, has pledged to raise “all the money” needed to ensure Biden wins a second term. A recent Broadway-themed fundraiser in New York featuring Obama and former President Bill Clinton raised $26 million.
