“I oppose an end to Joe Biden’s inflation-inducing spending spree and an immediate end to Bad Joe’s hundreds of billions of dollars of waste,” Trump said. “He’s wasting money at levels we’ve never seen before. He’s putting all this money into the Green New Scam, which is a scam, one of the greatest scams of all time. I agree with Zelensky, but Zelensky is probably the greatest politician of all time. He brings home $60 billion every time he comes to our country.”

In April, the House of Commons voted to send $61 billion of a $95 billion foreign aid package to Ukraine. On top of the $61 billion from the US, British Chancellor Rishi Sunak has pledged to provide Ukraine with an additional £500 million in foreign aid.
In early June, U.S. officials announced they would send about $225 million in military aid, including ammunition, to Ukraine.
According to a Pew Research Center poll, 31% of Americans believe the US is providing too much aid to Ukraine, 25% believe it is “about right,” and 24% believe it is “not enough.”
