Dave Portnoy fumes over Angel Reese, Dana Evans fouls on Caitlin Clark

This showdown between the Indiana Fever and the Chicago Sky was not going to end quietly.

On Sunday, the Fever defeated the Sky, 91-83, in an eventful daytime game that was nationally televised on CBS.

Clarke has been on the receiving end of a number of hard fouls from Sky stars Angel Reese and Dana Evans, which will no doubt furious the Clark family.

Among them is Barstool President Dave Portnoy.

Portnoy posted a video of the play in which Evans was called for a foul after getting his arm entangled with Clark, who he was guarding on the floor.

Portnoy called it “Chicago Sky doing Chicago Sky things.” About X.

“Can one of you Fever Girls go and beat these motherfuckers up?” Portnoy said in the video.

At the end of the video, as the camera focuses on Evans, Portnoy says, “Somebody hit her in the face. Break her nose.”

This comes shortly after Clarke asked people not to use his name for their own purposes.

Later in the game, Reese hit Clark in the head while trying to block a shot, resulting in a foul that was upgraded to a flagrant foul, giving the Fever two free throws and possession.

Portnoy posted a video of the play, writing, “Shocking. Angelo Reese and the Sky doing Angelo Reese and the Sky.”

In the video he called Sky “the dirtiest player in football.”

This was the first meeting between the two clubs since their encounter two weeks ago, which drew attention after Chennedy Carter made a hip check on Clarke.

Clark finished with 23 points, nine assists and eight rebounds on 7-of-11 field goal attempts and three 3-pointers.

This is one of the best accomplishments of her rookie campaign.

Aliyah Boston contributed 19 points, 14 rebounds and five blocks.

Reese recorded another double-double with 11 points, 13 rebounds and five assists, and Carter added 18 points, but the Sky were led by Marina Mabry, the team’s leading scorer this season, with 22 points.
