Gen Z musician Chloe Castillo told Breitbart News at Turning Point USA’s annual Young Women’s Leadership Summit in San Antonio, Texas, that being right-wing is becoming rebellious for young people as left-wing propaganda is pushed in schools.
After being asked if he thought being a young conservative was a rebellious stance, given that academia is dominated by the left, Castillo agreed, saying Gen Z “is a very different breed of person. [left-wing] Advertising.”
“The propaganda has reached a breaking point,” Castillo said. “I think as conservatives, we really think, ‘Hey, maybe I feel more comfortable here, maybe it’s more fun, maybe it’s more free, and maybe there’s nothing wrong with being proud to be an American, rather than being proud to stand next to a gay pride flag in the classroom.'”
“It’s definitely getting more and more fun,” Castillo continued. “I think with things like Turning Point, this movement has gained a lot of support among young people and young adults, and I’m very grateful for that.”
Castillo added that the left, meanwhile, “has found a way to incorporate childish values into itself.”
“Now we just have adults falling for this ridiculously childish propaganda,” she said.
“The hope is that the conservative movement will lead them to greater freedom, which will move them away from left-wing values,” Castillo added.
Castillo also said he started the “Make Music Right” movement because he saw his generation being “brainwashed through music and culture.”
“I think we need music that all Americans can relate to, that’s not total trash, left-wing trash,” she said.
