Owen Tippett’s Recovery and Outlook
Owen Tippett, following a series of medical assessments and rehabilitation with the Flyers’ medical team, has shared that he’s feeling progressively better. He noted that while he received the green light to travel and participate in some practices, the progress wasn’t as rapid as he had hoped, leaving him unable to safely continue playing.
During the Flyers’ playoff series against the Penguins, Tippett recorded a goal and an assist. He expressed pride in his performance this season and gratitude for the support he’s received along the way. It’s clear he values the team environment.
Looking ahead, Tippett remains optimistic about his full recovery and is eager for the upcoming training camp. This season marked one of his best yet, with 28 goals and 23 assists. Notably, he started with the Florida Panthers and joined the Flyers in 2022 as part of the Claude Giroux trade. Over his seven-season career, he has played 428 games, registering a total of 121 goals and 115 assists, amounting to 236 points.
