The U.S. Cricket Team advanced to the Super 8 round of the 2024 T20 Cricket World Cup after Friday’s rainout, but not a single ball was bowled in the final group stage match. The one competition point awarded was enough to secure the second of two spots in Group A of the Super 8 round.
This is the first time the United States has advanced to this round of the T20 Cricket World Cup. The 17th-ranked team beat tournament favorites Pakistan and nearly pulled off an upset against India. The U.S. team is now down to eight teams remaining.

The match will not be broadcast on cable television, but will be streamed on Willow HD, the specialty network that will broadcast every T20 Cricket World Cup match, and will be available on fuboTV and Sling TV.

The USA vs South Africa T20 Cricket World Cup Super 8 match will air on Wednesday, June 19 at 10:30 a.m. ET. The match will be played at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in North Sound, Antigua and Barbuda.
