A recent poll from Rasmussen Reports found that former President Donald Trump is leading President Joe Biden in the battleground state of Arizona.
investigation Asked Respondent: “If the 2024 presidential election were held today and the candidates were President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump, who would you vote for?”
Forty-seven percent of voters say they support Trump and 40% support Biden — a seven-point difference in the head-to-head contests. An additional 9% remain undecided. Notably, independents are split between Trump and Biden in the head-to-head contests, with each candidate receiving 39% support and an additional 17% remaining undecided.
If you add in third-party candidates (which include Independent Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Independent Cornel West, and Green Party candidate Jill Stein), Trump still leads with 41% approval and Biden with 37%, a four-point lead, with Kennedy trailing behind with 10%, West with 2%, and Stein with 1%.
The survey of 750 Arizona voters was conducted June 11-13, 2024, long after a Manhattan jury found Trump guilty on all 34 charges in his controversial business records trial, and has a margin of error of +/- 3 percentage points.

Several other state-level surveys of the race in battleground states have shown Trump narrowly ahead of Biden after the jury verdicts, even in traditionally Democratic states like Minnesota, suggesting that the mainstream media’s strategy to use the legal battle to oust the former president isn’t working.

For example, a June 3 Mitchell Research/MIRSNews poll of the Michigan race had Trump ahead of Biden in a head-to-head contest by 0.6 percentage points. When third-party voters were included, Trump’s lead grew to 1.2 percentage points. This is significant because Biden won the state by less than 3 percentage points in 2020.

Additionally, a recent Marist poll, also taken after the jury verdict, showed Trump leading Biden by two points in Pennsylvania, with Trump’s approval rating at 47% and Biden’s at 45%. Biden won the Keystone State by just 1.2% in 2020.
