The Epoch Times reported:

Former President Donald Trump visited Washington on June 13 and met with Republican members of the House of Representatives and Senate.

The former president began his day at the Capitol Hill Club, just outside the Capitol, where he addressed a large audience of the House Republican Conference.

Former President Trump will also address Republican senators at the Republican Senatorial Committee headquarters just around the corner from the Capitol, before speaking at the Business Roundtable later in the day.

“There is great unity in the Republican Party,” former President Trump said at a news conference after meeting with Senate Republicans.

When asked why he attended the meeting, Mitt Romney said, “I wasn’t there to support former President Trump, but to hear what he plans to do if he becomes president.”

Breitbart reported:

Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) said he attended a meeting with former President Donald Trump last week not to “support” Trump, but to “listen.”

Romney told CNN’s chief congressional correspondent Manu Raju that his attendance at a meeting between Republican senators and President Trump at the National Republican Senatorial Committee headquarters had not shaken his support for the former president.

“I didn’t go there to support former President Trump,” Romney began, “I went there to hear what he was going to do if he became president.”
