“Real Time” host Bill Maher came to Biden’s full defense, insisting he’s “still able to do the job” amid a series of viral videos fueling critics that Biden is too weak to be president.
Maher defended the 81-year-old Democrat, narrating as he showed various clips of Senator Normandy circulating among conservatives, including a memorial for Senator Normandy, a Juneteenth concert, a Los Angeles fundraiser and the G7 summit.
“This is the first footage. It’s D-Day. There he is. He sits down. I used to be in churches saying, ‘Is everybody sitting down? Oh, no?'” Maher said during a panel discussion on Friday, referring to footage of Biden awkwardly bending over to sit next to First Lady Jill Biden, French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte.
“So they said he was shitting his pants. I mean, he might be second in the polls, but he wasn’t shitting his pants,” Maher joked.
Critics say liberal media is using the video as “cover” for Biden, calling it a “cheap fake”

He then played a Juneteenth video in which Biden appears frozen while everyone else moves around him.
“Everyone’s dancing and he’s not dancing. Why not!” yelled Maher. “He shouldn’t dance! He’s 82 years old! He’ll look stupid if he tries to dance.”
Bill Maher vents his anger: “Why is it OK for leftists to hate Jews?”

“So he was at a fundraiser, and yes, he got a standing ovation at the end. You know, he’s a politician. Scranton Joe. That’s his job. He waited a little too long, and Obama, I guess Obama was like, ‘Oh, you know what they’re going to say,’ so he gave him the go ahead. He didn’t give him the go ahead!” Maher continued.
The liberal comedian denied claims that Biden was “wandering around like a mental patient” as he walked away to give parachutes a thumbs up, and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni invited Biden back into the group for a photo op with other world leaders.
Bill Maher warns of immigration chaos: ‘Democrats will be in chaos on Election Day’
“I think Democrats have to find a way to communicate that this guy is mentally sound,” Maher said, before adding, “How do we communicate to the American people, ‘Yes, he is old, but he hasn’t lost his mind’? Can we agree on that? He is still sane. He can still serve. He just can’t run for office.”

Biden’s mental acuity has long been a concern in his reelection bid, but the footage that has surfaced in recent weeks has further complicated efforts by his supporters to make the case that he is fit to serve another four years in office.
The White House and the media have pushed the argument that the Biden video is a “cheap fake,” trying to put it in the same category as “misinformation” even though the video has not been manipulated in any way.
