CoinStats, a popular app that helps users create wallets and track their crypto portfolios across different chains, has warned users who have created wallets using the app to transfer their funds following a “security incident” affecting the platform.
The platform noted on Saturday that iOS notifications informing some users that they had won prizes were actually scams, likely due to the same security incident, with some Android users reporting they had also received the notifications in a thread discussing the incident. On Reddit.
