In Mayor Brandon Johnson’s city of Chicago, at least 13 people were shot between Friday and Saturday night, five of them fatally.
CBS News report The first fatal shooting was a drive-by shooting that happened in the 5600 block of North Rockwell Street just before 7 p.m. on Friday.
Someone from inside a black SUV opened fire on three boys, killing one 16-year-old.
The next fatal shooting occurred just after 2:30 a.m. Saturday in the 400 block of West Division Street, where a 34-year-old man was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
At 10:40 a.m. Saturday, a 44-year-old man from the 2900 block of South State Street was shot multiple times and died.

Just before 3:30 p.m. Saturday, a 49-year-old man was found in the 4300 block of West 25th Street suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
ABC7 No. 7 I got it. A 16-year-old boy was shot multiple times after an altercation with an unknown person on the 6500 block of South Racine Avenue just after 6:30 Saturday night. The boy was taken to the hospital where he later died.
