Three women and teenager were kidnapped by two men, held inside shipping containers and sexually assaulted, Pa. police say

Pennsylvania State Police arrested two men on multiple charges. Related He is accused of kidnapping and sexually assaulting three women and a teenage girl.

Monroe County District Attorney Michael Mancuso said the case involved “a car chase, kidnapping, transportation to a segregated location, threats of death and mayhem and sexual assault.”

“You think you can see this, you think you can catch it, but the reality is it could be happening in broad daylight. It could be someone you talk to every day.”

Mancuso said 29-year-old Davaun Jackson and 19-year-old Isaiah Rogers Keeney were trying to silence four women who witnessed the shooting in Wilkes-Barre.

“There was one minor there. The minor was 17 years old. The other minors, I believe, were between 18 and 21 years old,” he added.

Two Men Kidnapped Police said they detained the four women and took them to a secluded property owned by Jackson in Smithfield Township, Monroe County, where they were tied up and placed inside several shipping containers.

Investigators said Jackson threatened his captors with a chainsaw, a sledgehammer and an axe on June 24. He allegedly forced two of the victims to perform sex acts and to mutilate their bodies.

When the victims were transported to another location, one of the victims was allowed to return her cell phone and immediately called her mother, who then called police. The victims were able to escape and make it to Walmart.

Police were able to find the women after a tipster reported that two women matching the description of the women who were allegedly abducted had been seen at Walmart.

Rogers Keeney is charged with 23 counts and Jackson is charged with 14, including common charges of kidnapping, sexual assault and false imprisonment. Mancuso said police may file additional charges against the suspects depending on the outcome of their investigation.

“We needed to bring charges that we felt were most appropriate at this time, but all options are on the table,” he added.

Both men’s bail was denied.

Christoph Johnson, owner of an auto repair shop near Jackson’s property, said he was shocked by the revelation.

“You think you can see this and you can catch it, but it could actually be happening in broad daylight. It could be someone you talk to every day,” Johnson said.
