Kamala Harris Mercilessly Mocked for ‘Pandering’ and ‘Fake’ BET Awards Guest Appearance

Vice President Kamala Harris’ guest appearance at the BET Awards on Sunday, where she spoke about politics with host Taraji P. Henson in a pre-recorded segment, has been derided as “pandering,” “embarrassing” and “fake.”

Some have accused Harris of using a false “black cent” to try to make herself more relatable to black voters, who are increasingly abandoning the Biden-Harris candidate.

“Yeah, I’m here,” Harris said at one point.

“These extremists, as they say, hate us,” she later said, apparently referring to Trump supporters.

Kamala Harris appeared at the BET Awards to stomp on Joe Biden’s declining black support and repeatedly invoke abortion and LGBTQ themes at a time when voters’ most pressing concern is the economy, particularly record-high consumer prices that are straining household finances.

Under the Biden-Harris Administration, the prices of basic goods and services, including food, energy, rent and insurance, have skyrocketed to unprecedented levels.

As a result, Biden’s support among black voters has plummeted: As reported by Breitbart News, an I&I/TIPP poll released in May found Biden suffering a 28 percentage point drop in support among black voters.

Kamala’s BET appearance drew widespread ridicule, with people calling it “fake” and “pandering.” Even Elon Musk chimed in, calling it “embarrassing as nails.”
