Former President Donald Trump believes Vice President Kamala Harris will ultimately be the top Democratic presidential candidate on Election Day.
Following President Joe Biden’s disastrous debate performance last week, Trump has remained largely silent as Democrats are mired in infighting over the possibility that party leaders may have to replace Biden.
“Make no mistake: the Democrats, the mainstream media, and the swamp have conspired to hide the truth from the American people: Joe Biden is weak, failed, dishonest and unfit for the White House.”
But this week, an unidentified person secretly filmed Trump on the golf course. Obtained by The Daily Beastprovides an honest account of Trump’s thoughts after the debate.
“How did the last debate go?” Trump asked, handing some money to an off-screen person.
After a few people praised Trump’s performance, Trump responded by describing Biden as an “old, broken pile of junk.”
“He just quit. He’s out of the race,” Trump predicted. “I took him out of the race. I mean, we have Kamala. I think she’s going to be better. She’s just awful. Just pathetic. Just awful. Can you imagine that guy going up against Putin or the president of China? He’s just a frightening person. He’s a very tough guy.”
As he left in a golf cart, Trump joked, “I’m just gonna keep beating ’em, you know?”

In a statement, the Trump campaign did not deny the authenticity of the video. Instead, the campaign pointed media to previous statements about Biden.
“Every Democrat calling for the unscrupulous Joe Biden to resign once supported Biden and his failed policies that have led to excessive inflation, open borders and chaos at home and abroad,” the statement said.
“There is no doubt that the Democrats, the mainstream media and the Swamp have conspired to hide the truth from the American people: that Joe Biden is weak, failed, dishonest and unfit for the White House,” the statement continued. “They have all lied about Joe Biden’s cognitive status and, for the past four years, especially his stingy co-pilot Kamala Harris, have supported his disastrous policies.”
As speculation swirls over Biden’s political future, the president himself denied on Wednesday that he was dropping out of the presidential race.
Biden continues to insist on continuing his campaign despite growing calls from Democratic lawmakers, activists and fundraisers for him to step down.
The Democrats’ own internal polling shows that unless Biden withdraws from the race, he is headed for a sure defeat.
