The photo was taken outside a Boston restaurant on June 27 after the case had been sent to the jury for deliberation.
After Reid’s photo was released, a photo released Wednesday showed Jackson at home with his wife.

The photos show Jackson and his wife, Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney Lisa Kasabian, arriving at their home in a BMW SUV wearing tracksuits and carrying what appears to be lunch.
In the photo, Kasabian was not wearing a wedding ring on his left hand. According to wedding website The Knot, the couple married in Santa Barbara, California in September 2011.
This was the first time the couple has been spotted together since controversial images of Jackson and Reid surfaced.
“It’s all about perception, and if the photo proves to be of an attorney embracing a client, that never paints a good impression,” said the former Washington, D.C., lawyer. Homicide detective Ted Williams spoke to Fox News about the Karen Reed photo.

A source close to Reid said the photo had been taken out of context and that it was actually a moment of innocent celebration and that they were “just messing around.” TMZ reported: on wednesday.
A judge declared a mistrial on Monday after jurors could not agree on a conviction in the trial of Reed, who was accused of killing her Boston police officer boyfriend, John O’Keefe, by running him over with an SUV and leaving him in a snowstorm.
The Massachusetts jury deliberated for nearly 26 hours and could not reach a consensus for several days.

“While we are committed to the task entrusted to us, fundamental differences of opinion and sentiment have left us deeply divided,” the jury wrote in their final report to the judge.
Prosecutors argued that a drunken altercation escalated into a violent altercation in January 2022, when Reed allegedly rear-ended O’Keefe with his SUV in northeasterly winds, causing O’Keefe’s death.

His body was found in the front yard of a powerful and well-connected family. Law Enforcement Mr Reid alleged that Ms O’Keefe’s death was cleverly covered up by her family to frame her.
Jackson did not respond to a request for comment from Fox News Digital about the photo.
