Man goes off on teens fishing on private Tenn. lake, snaps $200 rod: video

He needs to control his anger.

A shocking video has gone viral showing a Tennessee man panicking and breaking a 15-year-old boy’s $200 fishing pole while he was fishing in a public pond.

Two young friends were fishing when an enraged man attacked one of them, grabbing his fishing pole and breaking it over his lap.

In the footage, the friend filming the terrifying incident can be heard saying: “Don’t touch my pole!”

The video was shared by a popular person on Wednesday. Fishing account Fishn_Shi, Apparently it’s run by a young fishing enthusiast whose fishing pole broke.

In his comments, he said the incident happened in the Admirals Landing area.

The three-part video has since been viewed more than 18 million times and outraged many who condemned the bully.

After destroying the $200 St. Croix fishing pole mentioned in the caption, the man began yelling at the boy who was filming him, telling him he was trespassing.

The boy tells them that the man had threatened him and that he was waiting for the police.

“Go away,” the man shouted in the boy’s face, before turning around to face the other boy.

“Do you want to throw that phone in the lake, young man?” he asked.

The fight continues, with the disgruntled resident threatening, “Don’t try me,” while two other adults support him from behind some bushes.

“Get outta here… you’re fishing on a private lake,” the man says, his voice getting louder and louder. “Get outta here now,” the man yells. The man is wearing a “Tennessee Strong” T-shirt.

“You are committing a vicious offence and will be prosecuted and face a heavy fine,” he told the boy.

A woman behind him interjected, suggesting the man was the president of the homeowners’ association. “Hey, he knows everybody,” she said. “He’s the president and he’s lived here for years.”

“You don’t live here,” she accuses.

The boys have stated they are settled and live in Tennessee, but it is not clear where they live.

“Drunk Karen broke my $200 St. Croix fishing rod,” Fishn_Shi captioned the video, with many social media users agreeing that the man appeared to be drunk.

“This guy has the nerve to come up to kids staggering around and slurring his words and sounding drunk, and then he has the nerve to put his chest out and get in their faces and call him a f******,” said Michael McWhorter, a social media influencer known on TikTok as TizzyEnt. he said in the post.

“I bet this guy’s thinking, ‘Oh my goodness, kids these days have their faces in their phones all the time playing video games. Back in the day, they had to go outside and have fun for themselves,'” the incredulous fishing fan continued.

“And here we have two young guys out fishing without hurting anybody.”

Social media personality Colin Rugg Video shared It has 1.2 million followers.

“My Karen Male of the Month award goes to this man,” he wrote.

“Amazing to be a tough guy with a little kid,” said one person who commented on Rug’s post.

“When you take the fun away from your kids it makes you wonder why they get into trouble,” said another.
