The Republican National Committee’s (RNC) Platform Committee has formally adopted former President Donald Trump’s 2024 Republican Party Platform with “overwhelming” support, detailing a comprehensive plan with 20 key points in a press release.
Before getting into specifics, the committee emphasized that despite America’s history of greatness, the country is currently at a critical juncture where it is heading toward “serious decline” as American values come under attack from the radical left and the country must deal with the consequences of left-wing policies.
“Today, if we are to lead our nation to a brighter future, we must once again reawaken the same American spirit that has carried us through every difficulty of the past,” the platform reads, criticizing politicians who have sold out to globalists, opened borders and weaponized our justice system.
“In 2016, the country was on a positive path under President Trump’s leadership, and his unapologetically America First approach led to historic economic growth and job creation. But after four years under President Joe Biden and the Democrats, the U.S. has fallen into disarray, with rampant immigrant crime, attacks on children, continued inflation and global wars,” the statement said.
The platform committee called on Republicans to address “core threats to our very existence: a disastrously open border, a weakened economy, crippling limits on U.S. energy production, a weakened military, attacks on our justice system, and more.”
The 2024 Republican “Make America Great Again” policy platform points out these very issues and includes closing the border, ending inflation, giving workers a huge tax cut, making America energy dominant, defending the Constitution (including the Second Amendment), stopping the “epidemic” of immigrant crime, ending the weaponization of our justice system, defeating radical gender ideology, left-wing efforts to target our most innocent children, protecting Social Security and Medicare, ensuring election security, and much more.
The platforms are:

- Let’s make America the world’s largest energy producer, by far!
- Stop Outsourcing and Make America a Manufacturing Superpower
- Huge tax cuts for workers, no tax on tips!
- We will defend our Constitution, our Bill of Rights, and our fundamental freedoms, including freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and the right to keep and bear arms.
- Prevent World War III, restore peace to Europe and the Middle East, and build a powerful iron dome missile defense shield over the entire nation. All made in America.
- End the weaponization of the government against the American people
- Stopping the spread of immigrant crime, taking down foreign drug cartels, eradicating gang violence, and putting violent criminals behind bars
- We will rebuild our cities, including Washington, DC, and make them safe, clean and beautiful again.
- Strengthen and modernize our military to make it undoubtedly the strongest and most powerful in the world.
- Maintaining the US Dollar as the world’s reserve currency
- Fight to protect Social Security and Medicare without cutting them or changing the retirement age.
- Repeal the electric vehicle mandate and reduce costly and burdensome regulations.
- Cutting federal funding to schools that push critical race theory, radical gender ideology, and other inappropriate racial, sexual, and political content on children
- Remove men from women’s sports
- Kick out the Hamas extremists and make college campuses safe and patriotic again.

“My job as chair is to lead the Platform Committee meeting, and I am incredibly proud that our delegates passed Donald J. Trump’s platform,” Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.), who served as platform committee chair, said in a statement.
Trump campaign senior advisers Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles said the platform presents Trump’s MAGA agenda “in a concise and easy-to-understand format for all voters.”
Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Whatley and Co-Chair Lara Trump added that the 2024 Republican Platform is “a bold road map to undo the devastating damage that Joe Biden’s far-left policies have inflicted on our country, lead President Trump to a historic victory in November, and Make America Great Again.”
The platform coincides with thematic news for each day of the Republican National Convention, taking place July 15-18 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where Trump is expected to officially become the GOP’s presidential nominee.
Themes for each day of the convention include “Make America Good Again,” “Make America Safe Again,” “Make America Strong Again,” and “Make America Great Again.”
