Former President Donald Trump has challenged President Joe Biden to take part in a debate and golf match this week, and promised to donate $1 million to “any charity” if Biden wins.
At a rally in Doral, Florida, Trump told the crowd he was “offering” Biden an opportunity to “make amends” following his lackluster performance in the June 27 presidential debate.
Following Biden’s debate performance, the president has faced calls from Democrats, donors and voters to “stand down” and withdraw from the race.
“Tonight I’m officially offering Joe the opportunity to redeem himself in front of the whole world,” Trump said. Said He addressed the crowd, saying, “So, Marco, Byron, and everybody, here’s what we’re going to do: You can be the judge. We’re going to have another debate this week so that we can prove to the whole world that Sleepy Joe Biden has what it takes to be president. But this time, there will be no moderator, it’ll be a man-on-man debate.”

“During the debate, Sleepy Joe also declared that he would like to test his skill and stamina against me on the golf course,” Trump continued.
Trump Added He had reportedly “challenged” Biden to join him in a golf game.
“I also now officially challenge Crooked Joe to an 18-hole golf game,” Trump said, adding, “I give Joe Biden 10 strokes apiece.”

“If he wins, I’ll donate $1 million to the charity of his choice, any charity he wants,” Trump added. “And he’s not going to accept the offer, because he’s all talk. But this fight is going to prove that Joe is all talk and no action.”
During the presidential debate, Biden and Trump discussed golf swings, with Trump claiming he had just won two golf club championships, and Biden claiming he had lowered his golf handicap to six while serving as vice president.
