Trump challenges Biden to golf match, says he’ll give $1 million to charity if he loses

After a heated debate between the two presidential candidates over golf handicaps, former President Donald Trump now wants to take action.

The 45th president even challenged Biden to a golfing challenge at a rally at the Doral Course in South Florida, offering to donate $1 million to a charity of Biden’s choice if he lost.

“I’m also officially challenging Bad Boy Joe to an 18-hole golf match here at the Blue Monster in Doral, one of the premier tournament golf courses in the world, one of the best courses in the world,” Trump said. “This will be one of the most-watched sporting events in history, maybe even bigger than the Ryder Cup or the Masters.”

“And I’m going to beat Joe Biden by 10 strokes. 10 strokes is a lot. For those of you who don’t play golf, I’m going to beat him by 20 strokes. If he wins, I’ll give $1 million to a charity of his choice. You can bet he won’t take me up on that offer.”

Biden press secretary James Singer fired back.

“After 12 days of not being seen in public, Donald Trump is now inviting a fictional serial killer to dinner, mocking Marco Rubio, praising Project 2025 architect Tom Homan and challenging the President of the United States to a round of golf,” the statement said.

“We asked Donald Trump to create jobs, and he lost 3 million. We asked Donald Trump to stand up to Putin, and he caved to him. We asked Donald Trump to follow the law, and he broke the law. We asked Donald Trump not to destroy our country, and that’s what his Project 2025 is all about.”

“Joe Biden doesn’t have time for Donald Trump’s bizarre behavior. He’s busy leading America and defending the free world. Donald Trump is a liar, convicted fraudster who is out only for himself. No surprise there.”

Perhaps the hottest topic of the June 27 debate in Atlanta was the golf argument, which came after Trump, while discussing health, remarked that he had won two club championships and added that Biden couldn’t hit the ball 50 yards.

Biden later claimed that as vice president he had lowered his golf handicap to six, later correcting it to eight.

But Trump Avid golfer, I didn’t believe it.

“The biggest lie is that his handicap is six,” he said. Trump’s handicap is listed as the lowest on record at 2.5.

The debate over golf handicaps may never be settled, but reigning U.S. Open champion Bryson DeChambeau has offered to help settle it.

“Let’s settle the handicap debate. I’m hosting a golf tournament on YouTube.”
