“What do you think about Jill Biden’s role and responsibility here?” Morgan asked, triggering a relentless attack by Kelly.
“I think it has revealed her as a power-hungry political power-seeker,” she answered bluntly.
“She’s on the cover of Vogue right now. Why? Because she wants publicity. HerselfKelly added, “Jill recently tweeted a photo of herself sitting in the President’s chair as he prepared for the G7 meeting.”
Kelly also noted the first lady’s insistence on being referred to as “Dr. Jill Biden.”
“She has a PhD in education,” she told Morgan, “and I’m not mocking that degree. My dad had one too, but he would never have forced me to call him Dr. Kelly.”
“He was called Professor. That was the title he earned. Why did she [being called Dr.]”She’s power-hungry. She has a tiny, fragile self-esteem that she has to build. She needs the approval of others to reap the rewards,” Kelly said.
“I think it has to do with the big revelations we’re seeing about her right now. She’s power-hungry. What did we see from her on debate night? We saw her go on stage and lead the president of the United States down the steps like a mother.”
“And after the debate there was footage everywhere of her saying, ‘Yay! You answered all the questions’ – again, talking to him the same way I talk to a dog that sits on command. … She knows how weak he is. She wants a shadow president.”
