Kim Kardashian sliced off fingertip, called it ‘more painful than childbirth’ in reality TV teaser

Kim Kardashian said the pain of cutting off the tip of her finger was “worse than giving birth.”

In a teaser clip for the July 18, 2024 episode of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” the reality TV star visits a doctor’s office.

She slowly removed the splint, revealing the bloody tip of her middle finger (or lack thereof).

“Oh, so pretty,” the doctor joked.

“Do you think it’s nice?” the Skims founder replied.

“The tip broke off,” Kardashian says in the video as an X-ray of herself plays on the screen.

“It was more painful than giving birth.”

Kardashian didn’t offer any further details about how the accident happened in the short video, but fans have been pondering the injury for months.

In March, she was photographed with two bandages on her middle and index fingers while she and her son, Saint West, attended a Los Angeles Lakers game.

Also in March, Kardashian shared an Instagram video for her skincare company, Skkn by Kim, revealing some interesting items she keeps in her bag, including hair clips, lip products, gum, sunglasses, and a digital camera.

She used her uninjured hand to display the items for most of the video.

At the end of the video, Kardashian briefly spoke about her injury, saying she had bandages in her bag.

“I’ve been loving this look lately. It’s so stylish,” Kardashian said in the video, showing off two bandaged fingers.

“Hey guys, I was hurt,” she said, pretending to apply makeup with her bandaged finger. “I sacrificed my finger for beauty.”
