“We’ve seen some movement on Joe Biden’s agenda, and I think a lot of it is because Biden is listening to people like the people of Dearborn who are speaking out about things that are important to them and should continue to speak out,” Michigan Democratic Party Chair Lavora Barnes said on Friday’s MSNBC broadcast of “The Last Word.”
Discussing the war between Israel and Hamas, Burns said:[W]We have had conversations with the voters here in Michigan since the war broke out. We will continue to have those conversations. We have worked hard to help the public understand the difference between Donald Trump and Joe Biden. We understand the public’s disappointment with certain policies of the current administration, but we know that Donald Trump is not the answer. Donald Trump is not a better person on the issues that the public cares about than Joe Biden or Kamala Harris. We have had those conversations and we will continue to have those conversations. We have worked hard and we will continue to work hard. We have seen movement in Joe Biden’s policies, and I think a lot of that is because he is listening to the people who are, and should continue to be, vocal about the things that matter to them, like the people of Dearborn.”
