President Joe Biden addressed the nation live on Sunday night in an attempt to ease political tensions in the country following the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump, but the speech was riddled with gaffes and slip-ups.
“In America, we resolve our differences with battle boxes,” Biden said. To tell At one point: “At Battlebox, that’s how it works. We don’t use bullets.”

“The power to change America should always remain in the hands of its people, not in the hands of wannabe assassins,” Biden added. “You know that the path forward between competing visions of our campaign must always be resolved peacefully, not through acts of violence. We are blessed to live in the greatest country on earth, and I believe in that with every fiber of my being.”
“Tonight, I ask all Americans to recommit themselves to making America great again. America — America — think about what it is that has made America so special,” Biden continued. Use Those words.

“Here in America, unity is the hardest goal to achieve right now, but nothing is more important to us right now than being united,” Biden added.
He also referred to Trump as “ex-Trump” at one point during the speech.
This is not the first time Biden has delivered a gaffe-riddled speech. In May, during a press conference with Kenyan President William Ruto, Biden referred to Vice President Kamala Harris as “the first black vice president of the United States, President Kamala Harris,” in a gaffe-riddled speech.
More recently, Biden mistakenly introduced Harris as Vice President Donald Trump during a solo press conference, the same time Biden referred to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as Russian President Vladimir Putin.
As Breitbart News previously reported, at the event in Ireland, Biden spoke of “US-Irish cooperation” and told the crowd to “lick the world.”
