Democrats’ Vision Is for People to ‘Limit’ Their Dreams and ‘Give Up’

Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, speaking at the Republican National Convention (RNC) on Monday night, highlighted how young Americans are confronted with the vision of a Biden-Harris administration and how the Democratic Party is telling young people to “limit their dreams” and “give up.”

“I often hear from young people about their hopes, dreams and fears,” Kirk says. Said From the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin: “Young people are idealists. They respond to vision. For the last four years, they’ve seen the vision of the Biden-Harris Administration, and that vision is that you can be happy without owning anything.”

“Democrats are saying, ‘Instead of owning a home, you’ll rent a 400-square-foot studio apartment. Instead of owning a car, you’ll rent a scooter through an app,'” Kirk continued.

Their vision: Limit your dreams, give up, set low goals, and settle for less. Life has become really tough for people in their 20s living in America. Since 2020, we’ve seen home prices go up 47 percent. 47 percent. Homeownership is out of reach unless you’re making more than $106,000 a year.

Kirk added that in the four years since he “last” spoke at the Republican National Convention, he had married and become the father of two children.

“For millions of people my age, that feels more distant a dream than it ever has before under a Biden-Harris administration,” Kirk added. “Current projections suggest that one-third of young Americans today will never marry. The average American is having fewer children than ever before.”

Kirk added that the “American Dream” had become “a luxury item for the wealthy and elite.”

June, NPR report Home prices are up 47% since 2020, according to a report compiled by the Joint Center for Housing Studies at Harvard University.

The report adds that you need to earn more than $100,000 to buy a home: “Nearly half of metro areas require an income of $100,000 or more to purchase a median-priced home, but that was the case in only 11% of markets in 2021, according to the report.”
