Shocking footage shows the moment a mass brawl involving dozens of people broke out outside a pub after England’s defeat in the Euros final.
Riots broke out outside the Olton Tavern in Solihull after England’s 2-1 defeat to Spain on Sunday night.
The ugly scene was caught on camera as men in football jerseys fought on a patch of grass near the bar’s car park, with women also getting caught up in it.
The video shows a man being beaten unconscious by what appears to be a bodyguard.
Another player, wearing England’s number eight “Gascoigne” jersey, was kicked repeatedly in the head, with a sickening thud being heard.
A bystander can be heard saying, “There are explosions all over the place. Oh man, you were so knocked out, now everyone’s going to explode.”
A blonde woman dressed in pink can be seen trying to kick someone as a fight breaks out across the car park.
Another man is seen lying on the floor outside and being kicked in the head, while two doormen struggle to quell the violence.
Others can be heard shouting in the disturbing footage: “Are you crazy?” and “Who do you want to be next?”
Fans reacted in shock after the footage, obtained by Birmz Is Grime blog, was uploaded to social media.
One person commented: “Typical behaviour after England loses.”
Another person said: “This is why I’m not taking my kids anywhere to watch a game…. Stay home safe! People need to grow up!!”
A third wrote: “How embarrassing,” while another added: “This at a football game.”
Another user added: “This is insane. It’s amazing the amount of people involved in this.”
A West Midlands Police spokesman said: “We are investigating a disturbance which took place in a pub in Solihull.”
“We were called to Road Lane just after 10.30pm after a fight broke out and we are conducting further enquiries to identify those involved.”
