Man, 64, jumps to his death from luxury NYC hotel: cops

A 64-year-old man died after jumping from a luxury Midtown hotel Tuesday morning, police said.

Police said the man jumped from Room 28 on the 20th floor of the Kimberly Hotel on East 50th Street near Lexington Avenue and landed in a courtyard on the third floor.

Paramedics pronounced him dead around 10 a.m., and the NYPD arrived on the scene around 10:20 a.m.

The man’s identity was not immediately released.
