14 Attorneys General Ask FEMA to Include Wildfire Smoke and Heat in Major Disaster Aid

Thirteen Democratic state attorneys general and the attorney general of Washington, D.C., sent a letter to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) on Tuesday expressing support for a rule that would make extreme heat and wildfire smoke events eligible for major disaster declarations.
