What Trump Campaign Should Do Next

Estimated Reading Time: 3 minutes

Editors’ Note: While whimsical in tone, the following piece makes an important point. Especially after surviving FBI, CIA, and Democrat conspiracies against him, lawsuits and criminal prosecutions, and finally assassination attempts; those who will vote for Trump are going to do so. We commend you on Megyn Kelly’s moving public endorsement, especially since she and the former President had quite a public battle with each other, replete with Trumpian insults. She has put his personality quirks aside and looked at the whole man and sees a leader. As the author suggests, Trump’s base is solid and he needs to reach out to those who need permission to vote for him because he has been so vilified.  This would include urban women, minorities, and RINO Republicans. We are reading things like, “After this assassination attempt,  the election is over.” Don’t believe it. Many things can happen between now and the election and if the Democrats have proven anything, it is they will do anything to win. The GOP needs to keep working as hard as possible at all levels, including election integrity measures. Trump needs to point out that the impression many have of him is a product of a lying media and his political opposition. For both the sake of the country and believe it or not, the sake of the Democrat Party, this gaggle of radical Democrats needs to go down to a resounding defeat. Only after “unconditional surrender” will the Democrats be able to rebuild into a party representative of this great nation.

To my amazement, the Trump campaign has never asked for my advice. What are they thinking? Anyway, on the off chance that The Donald reads The Prickly Pear, this is what I think he should do next.

Stop talking about Biden’s incapacity. The basic rule of salesmanship: when you have made the sale… stop talking. Everybody knows and agrees that Biden is unable to run for president or be president. There is no point in running commercials showing him stumbling and freezing and getting confused. That sale has been made. Move on to the next sale.

The next sale is “It’s OK to vote for Donald Trump.” There are millions of people who don’t want to vote for Biden, but cannot bring themselves to vote for Trump. For example, Joy Reid said she would vote for “Biden in a coma” before she would vote for Trump. Why? Because she believes in her heart that Trump is a Nazi and a threat to democracy, and so on.

So, the next round of commercials should be aimed at those who need a reason, who need an excuse, who need to give themselves permission to vote for Trump. I propose this theme: “It’s hard to admit and accept that you were lied to, but now that you know that they lied to you, why should you believe anything else the Trump-haters say?”

“You were told Biden was ‘sharp as a tack,’ and that the videos of him dazed and confused were ‘cheap fakes.’ Now you know: they lied.”

“You were told for three years that Trump stole the election by colluding with the Russians. After a 30 million dollar investigation, the Mueller Report said ‘no evidence of collusion.’ Now you know; they lied.”

“You were told that Donald Trump organized an armed insurrection at the Capitol that was worse than Pearl Harbor and 9/11. Now you have seen the videos of the Capitol Police inviting people to come in, and escorting them into the building, and you have seen the video of Nancy Pelosi saying ‘I take responsibility.’ Now you know; they lied.”

“You were told that Donald Trump said that Nazis and white supremacists were very fine people. Now you have seen the video where he actually said the opposite, that those people should be condemned. Now you know; they lied.”

“You were told that Donald Trump said World War I veterans were ‘suckers and losers.’ That was a lie. You were told that Donald Trump told people to inject bleach. That was a lie. Immigrant children in cages? A lie.

After all those lies, why should you believe anything else they say? Donald Trump will be a dictator? He didn’t kill or prosecute or censor his political opponents during his first term. Trump is a threat to democracy? He didn’t try to keep his political opponents off the ballot. Trump is a Nazi? He didn’t put anybody in camps, or promote anti-semitism on college campuses.

“You have seen it with your own eyes. Now you know. Everything they told you about Trump is a lie.

“It’s OK to vote for Trump.”

TAKE ACTION

The Prickly Pear’s TAKE ACTION focus this year is to help achieve a winning 2024 national and state November 5th election with the removal of the Biden/Obama leftist executive branch disaster, win one U.S. Senate seat, maintain and win strong majorities in all Arizona state offices on the ballot and to insure that unrestricted abortion is not constitutionally embedded in our laws and culture.

Please click the TAKE ACTION link to learn to do’s and don’ts for voting in 2024. Our state and national elections are at great risk from the very aggressive and radical leftist Democrat operatives with documented rigging, mail-in voter fraud and illegals voting across the country (yes, with illegals voting across the country) in the last several election cycles.

Read Part 1 and Part 2 of The Prickly Pear essays entitled How NOT to Vote in the November 5, 2024 Election in Arizona to be well informed of the above issues and to vote in a way to ensure the most likely chance your vote will be counted and counted as you intend.
