When the time comes, that person will emerge: Former President Donald Trump will take center stage at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee on Thursday night and tell his party members, and the world, that he’s prepared to fight to the end in the race for the White House in 2024.
The theme of the final day will be “Make America Great Again,” and Trump will lay out his vision for what he called “a new Gilded Age of America” during his campaign.
Doing so would allow him to announce that he would accept his party’s nomination for the 2024 presidential election, cementing his comeback after a four-year hiatus and lending it added credibility following the assassination attempt just five days ago.
Trump is expected to accept his party’s nomination for the third consecutive time in a prime-time address before thousands of supporters at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee.

The former president Reportedly Ultimate Fighting Championship CEO Dana White will make an introduction, and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is also scheduled to speak on the final day of the tournament.

“Honestly, this speech is going to be very different,” he said.
According to a report by the Associated Press, expectations are already building within the party.
“I believe that once he gets through that, his message will be better and it will appeal to our better emotions,” said Pennsylvania Republican Party Chairman Lawrence Tabas. “He has a great deal of compassion and empathy that doesn’t always come through.”
Convention organizers will release a full list of speakers for each evening later each morning.
