Trump critic Steve Deace just put Trump sign in front yard

Steve Dees “One of the most vocal critics of Donald Trump on BlazeTV”

He voted for Ted Cruz in 2016 and for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in this year’s primary.

But after Donald Trump was nearly assassinated, Steve did something that shocked his audience: He “went outside and put up a Trump sign in his yard.”

What has changed?

Steve joins Jill Savage on “BlazeNews Tonight” to explain his “new perspective.”

Jill: Tweet Deace recently posted:

The reality is, despite his flaws and all that has puzzled and frustrated me about him and his methods, the truth is that Trump has done more to combat the darkness that has infiltrated and threatened to engulf this culture since he stepped off the escalator in 2016 than the church has collectively done so far this century.
There’s a reason the dark is attacking Donald Trump and not the church: the biggest problem America has is that most pastors don’t deserve to be attacked.

“This feels like a totally different death. What’s going on now?” Jill asks.

“This shooting made something very clear to me,” he said. “When Trump raised his fist and said, ‘Fight,’ I honestly thought for the first time in a long time that Donald Trump was speaking directly to me.”

Steve called Trump’s call to fight as he was carried off the stage covered in blood “one of the coolest moments in American history” and “arguably the most iconic image since 9/11.”

“look [Trump] There is a natural energy, an unscripted energy, a rebellious spirit that resists what is happening to this once exceptional and great country, that makes Steve “[needs] I will join this fight.”

“If they’re shooting at the guy, obviously there’s a fight there,” he told Jill.

“Recognizing Jerusalem as the rightful capital of Israel, Roe v. Wade …It was Donald Trump who accomplished these things, “bringing greater stability to the Middle East than we’ve seen in my lifetime.”

“At the end of the day, I want to be where the fighting is.”
