Prelim, main card odds, picks

She will return to the APEX Center for UFC Vegas 94, once again appearing in the main event of the women’s division.

In what is expected to be a title shot, Amanda Lemos will face Virna Jandiroba as the surprise underdog at strawweight.

Unfortunately, the middleweight bout between Brad Tavares and Jun “Yeok” Park was lost due to illness, reducing the number of fights available to bet on to 11.

He had a dominant performance last week, going 4-0 in fight previews and 6-5 overall, and nailing a long shot 10/1 prop for Julian Erosa to win by submission.

It was an even stronger betting result here, with a 9.2 unit profit on the night and a strong 27.01 units over the past four UFC fight cards.

The fun continues as ESPN will still air UFC’s primetime shows, with prelims starting at 5pm ET on ESPN2 and the main card airing at 8pm ET on ESPN.

UFC Las Vegas 94 Predictions

Amanda Lemos vs. Virna Jandiroba

Lemos is a hard-hitting strawweight and the only thing on her mind is defending the takedown.

Her defense rate is just 57 percent, but six of those wins came against champion Zhang Weili, who she hit six times, and other than that, Lemos has never been taken down multiple times in her UFC career.

Lemos also played some great defense against Mackenzie Dern.

Frankly, Lemos might be the best fighter at strawweight outside of Weili.

Jandiroba isn’t bad per se, it’s just her hitting that worries me.

Firstly, she is extremely vulnerable and only seems to be able to pull off leg kicks that do no damage.

Jandiroba will look to go for the takedown at will, and I have more confidence in Lemos’ takedown defense than I do in Jandiroba’s striking defense.

Lemos gets this done.

choose: Lemos Moneyline (+114, DraftKings)

Bruno Silva vs. Cody Dirden

An intriguing bout early on in the main card is between Bruno Silva and wrestler Cody Dirden.

In terms of finishing percentage, if this fight goes to a finish, Silva is expected to do it, while Darden has yet to finish anyone at the UFC (four decision wins).

Darden is a solid fighter who wins bouts by scoring takedowns multiple times, which is his preferred method of victory.

At 5-foot-4, Silva is at a significant size disadvantage and has managed to defend just 54 percent of his takedowns.

Silva looks to embrace the bottom position to try for the submission.

It could work out well, or it could easily end badly.

Darden is +195 to win by decision, a staggering number at BetRivers.
