Billionaire Elon Musk has said media reports are “not true” and that he is not actually paying $45 million a month to support former President Donald Trump.
Speaking with conservative commentator Jordan Peterson this week, Musk said reports about his pledge were “simply not true.”
“The things being reported in the media are completely untrue,” Musk said. “I am not donating $45 million a month to Donald Trump.”
Breitbart News recently reported that a source close to Musk Said of The Wall Street Journal The billionaire had reportedly “pledged to donate roughly $45 million per month to USA PAC, a political action committee that was formed in June. The rumors spread after Musk previously came off the sidelines to donate a ‘significant amount’ to USA PAC to support the reelection of former President Donald Trump.”
The outlet cited other donors to the USA PAC as including Harvard-educated twins Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, who accepted a settlement after accusing Mark Zuckerberg of stealing the idea for Facebook from them, and former U.N. ambassador Kelly Craft.
A source told the outlet that USA PAC is “focused on voter registration and persuading voters to vote early and request mail-in ballots” in battleground states such as Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, Nevada, Arizona and Georgia.

According to Fortune, Musk said: create He has donated to the America PAC super PAC, but it’s unclear exactly how much he’s donated to the organization.

Musk also praised the Republican Party for promoting one of his “core values.”
