President Joe Biden, in a live address on Wednesday night, insisted the US is “not at war anywhere in the world.”
Biden’s speech After announcing on Sunday that he was withdrawing from the presidential race, approved Vice President Kamala Harris will be the Democratic presidential nominee.
During Biden’s speech, he Said While serving as president had been an “honor” of his lifetime, he resolved to “pass the baton to the next generation,” and continued to speak about what he would do during the remainder of his term.

Biden also asserted that the US is “not at war anywhere in the world.”
“I will continue to work to ensure that America remains strong, secure, and a leader in the free world,” Biden said. “I am the first president this century to report to the American people that America is not at war anywhere in the world.”

“We will continue to rally together a coalition of proud nations to stop Putin from taking over Ukraine and doing more damage,” Biden added. “We will make NATO stronger, stronger and more united than at any time in our history, and we will continue to do the same for our allies in the Pacific.”
Many people responded to Biden’s comments by pointing out how much money the US government is sending to Ukraine over its ongoing war with Russia.

In April, the U.S. Senate approved a $95 billion foreign aid package for Ukraine and Israel, with Ukraine receiving $61 billion and Israel receiving roughly $26 billion in military aid, and $9 billion earmarked for humanitarian aid in Gaza.
Vice President Kamala Harris pledged in June to send an additional $1.5 billion in direct aid to Ukraine.
As Breitbart News reported, the United States has sent more than $3.2 billion in humanitarian aid to Ukraine since the start of the war between Ukraine and Russia.
The United States has also sent about $1.5 billion to support Ukraine’s energy sector.
The Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget report The May report noted that Congress “approved approximately $175 billion in aid and military assistance to support the Ukrainian government and its allies two years after Russia began its aggression.”
