JD Vance rips Kamala Harris for questioning his loyalty to America

Republican vice presidential nominee J.D. Vance on Saturday criticized Democratic successor presumptive Kamala Harris at a campaign rally in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

In a 45-second YouTube video posted on July 16, Harris said Vance’s “loyalty is to Trump, not to the country.” [Trump’s] It’s an extreme agenda.”

At a joint rally between Trump and Vance on Saturday, Vance countered the vice president’s character attacks by citing his own service in the Marines, his record as a small business owner and Harris’ failure to address the border crisis.

“I saw the other day that Kamala Harris was questioning my loyalty to this country, and the word she used was ‘loyalty,’ which is an interesting word – ‘always loyal,’ because nothing shows more disloyalty to this country than what Kamala Harris has done on our southern border,” Vance said.

The Ohio senator did not pause on Harris’ record as border secretary under President Joe Biden’s administration.

“I want to ask the vice president, has she done anything to make you question my loyalty to this country? I was in the United States Marine Corps. I went to Iraq for this country. I built a business for this country.”

After the crowd erupted in applause, Vance answered his own question.

Trump, and we will do everything in our power to make that happen,” he concluded.
