Aggressive anti-Israel demonstrators pull a woman's hair and shine a strobe light in a boy's face at troubling NYC rally

Disturbing videos have surfaced showing anti-Israel demonstrators pulling the hair of a Jewish woman and directing strobe lights at an Orthodox boy during clashes in Brooklyn on Monday evening.

Four individuals, including two teenagers, were arrested amid the turmoil.

The confrontation unfolded in Midwood, not far from a Young Israel event centered on promoting Israeli and West Bank real estate. Tensions escalated as both groups exchanged insults and pushed each other.

A video captured a masked female protester yanking a Jewish woman’s hair from behind, continuing the fray, while a man in black provoked Israeli supporters, shouting obscenities.

The situation intensified when a group of young men waving Palestinian flags confronted the man, leading to more chaos. It was reported that the altercation was eventually quelled after a provocateur aimed a strobe light at an Orthodox boy outside the Avenue H subway station.

Among those arrested, a 30-year-old man faced charges for assault, weapons possession, and harassment—having a record of four previous arrests linked to protests since 2021.

Additionally, 36-year-old Mohamed Asbas was charged with obstruction and disorderly conduct, while two 17-year-olds were charged with reckless endangerment.

This violent episode followed another tumultuous gathering at Manhattan’s Park East Synagogue last week, where hundreds of anti-Israel activists had gathered for an event organized by Nefesh Benefesh, a group fostering Jewish immigration to Israel.

Both protests were organized by Pal Awda New York/New Jersey, which has used heated slogans like “No settlers on stolen land” and “Stop the sale of stolen Palestinian land” to mobilize support.
