This is the bizarre moment a car was spotted driving backwards on a busy highway.
The video, taken on July 10, shows a red vehicle shooting through cars on FDR Drive in Manhattan, New York City.
Paramedic Victoria Metzger, 29, discovered the vehicle on her way to the scene after receiving a call.
She said: “I couldn’t believe it when I saw it.”
“We were on our way to a report so we couldn’t stick around or follow it for long and we didn’t call the police.”
The driver, Maria Claro, 35, saw the same red car speed past her car on the left side at a high rate of speed.
Maria, a writer, said: “When I saw this car I was left speechless.
“After I stopped filming, the car just kept moving forward.
“In the end, I didn’t call the police.”
