Former President Donald Trump said Saturday he would continue holding outdoor rallies after surviving an assassination attempt about two weeks ago.
He posted on Truth Social:
“I will continue with the outdoor rally. The Secret Service has agreed to significantly step up their activities, which they are more than capable of doing. No one will be allowed to prevent or disrupt free speech or assembly!!!”
The decision came after the Secret Service reportedly urged the president not to continue holding outdoor rallies.

“I will be returning to Butler, Pennsylvania for a big, beautiful rally to honor the spirit of our beloved firefighter hero Corey and the brave patriots who were wounded two weeks ago. What a day it will be. Fight, fight, fight! More details to come,” Trump posted on Truth Social.
