Whoopi Goldberg told her co-stars on ABC’s “The View” on Monday that if they didn’t like the drag queens’ performance at the Paris Olympics opening ceremony, they should turn off their TV.

Goldberg added: “If you’re unhappy with something and it’s bothering you, don’t spend 20 hours writing an email. Turn off the TV. Look at something else. Put the newspaper down. Don’t look at photos. These are choices. We’re coming back to this. These are our choices. You have the ability. Forget what Instagram is telling you. If you don’t like it, go on to something else. You don’t have to stay there.”
