Trump issues retort to Harris campaign attacks: 'She’s a weird person'

Former President Trump hit back at Harris’ campaign’s attempt to portray his campaign with Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio) as “weird,” arguing that the opposite was true.

The Harris campaign’s strategy has focused on public comments and controversial statements made by the Republican nominee and his running mate, such as Trump’s comments about Hannibal Lecter and Vance’s past comments about childfree people.

Fox News’ Laura Ingraham asked the former president. In an interview His response to these attacks was given on the show, which aired on Tuesday.

Trump said his critics used “soundbites” like “Russia, Russia, Russia” and that he was a “paid ally of Russia.” [Russian President Vladimir Putin]”These people are crazy,” he added, before making a side note about President Biden’s golfing skills.

“You see all of them, just look at Biden. He said he’s going to challenge me to a game of golf. I’m a very good golfer. He’s a terrible golfer. This guy can’t hit the ball 30 yards,” the former president said.

He then walked back on his “weird” remarks, saying it was Ms Harris who was “weird”.

“Look, this whole thing is a scam. It’s ‘just weird.’ You know who’s just weird? She’s just weird,” he told Ingraham. “She’s a weird person. Look at her history. Look at what she’s doing.”

“And look at what she used to say about herself. I won’t go into detail on that, but you can see what she used to say and what kind of person she was compared to what she’s been saying since about 2016. She’s become a completely different person. Just for political reasons,” he added.

Vance also responded to the criticism, saying in a separate Fox News interview that aired Sunday that he wasn’t hurt by the insults.

“Look, the price of admission, the price of serving the people, is that Democrats are going to attack us with all their might, and I consider that an honor,” Vance said.
