The 5-year-old gymnast shared her balance beam routine on Instagram, where it has garnered more than 40 million views and 30,000 comments, including from Simone Biles.
In the video, Nova, age 5 She dons a Team USA leotard and performs a variety of tricks on a beam in her living room, including handstands, backbends and even backflips.
The video quickly gained attention, with Biles commenting, “This little strut… [clapping emoji] Get it girl!!!”

“I was sitting in on my daughter’s gymnastics practice and when I mentioned it during a break, she was so excited, she immediately grabbed my phone and proudly showed the comment to all her teammates,” Tiffany Davidson, who manages her daughter’s Instagram account, @missnovagirl, told Fox News Digital about the moment Nova found out Biles had commented on her post.
Nova has been doing gymnastics since she was 3 years old, and her mother began documenting her progress on Instagram, where she gained a devoted following, with this video in particular catching the attention of celebrities like Biles, Jocelyn Roberson and Hesly Rivera.
“that [has] “She’s realized that gymnastics is so much more than just her gym. It’s a whole community and it’s been so great meeting new people,” Davidson said of her daughter’s Instagram account.
Last January, Nova had the chance to meet Biles at an event, and the experience was filmed and posted to her Instagram account.

In the video, Biles is seen signing copies of her book, “Flying High,” and embracing the excited girl.
“It was such a sweet moment,” Davidson told Fox News Digital. “Leading up to that moment, Nova had planned out everything she wanted to say to Simone, but when she saw Simone, she was so star-struck she could barely say anything. She even forgot how old she was when Simone asked her.”
“But Simone was super sweet and remembered a video of Nova asking me if Simone farts. Nova didn’t say much, but she talked a lot about meeting Nova afterwards and it’s definitely a memory she cherishes,” Davidson said.
Biles’ comments on the promising young gymnast’s post come as the U.S. women’s gymnastics team is set to compete in the 2024 Paris Olympics, ultimately winning the gold medal.

This year’s Olympics marked a triumphant return for Biles, who withdrew from the 2020 Tokyo Olympics due to “two twists and turns” she experienced.
The gold medal won by the team of Biles, Suni Lee, Jordan Chiles, Hezly Rivera and Jade Carey made Biles the most decorated U.S. Olympic gymnast of all time. The win marks Biles’ eighth Olympic medal.

The 27-year-old gymnast has won five Olympic gold medals and eight medals total.
The 5-year-old gymnast was cheering on Biles from home throughout her win, with several posts on her account showing her support for Team USA, including a photo of little Nova cropped into the Olympic gymnasts’ team photo.
“She’s so excited,” Davidson said. “We watched the game together and she was so happy to see them win.”
